Mehedi Rahman, graduated from North South University (NSU) in Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) in 2015. He has been working as a GRE and TOEFL faculty of GREC since JUNE 2016. Since his inception as a faculty member of GREC, he has been guiding a lot of students from different backgrounds scoring sparkling scores in GRE and TOEFL.
Mr. Mehedi’s aim is to be researcher in cancer treatment by exploring cancer in details at the molecular level and to investigate deep inside the malignant cells. His goal is to find new molecular targets for cancer develop new anti-cancer drugs and discover methods to improve the detection of cancer biomarkers due to complications in currently available in anti-cancer therapies.
As a faculty of GREC, Mr. Mehedi always tries to give his hundred percent in the class and help his students in every way possible. According to him, “The best thing about teaching in GREC is that I get to interact with students from different backgrounds which always help me to learn new things. Moreover, as a teacher, I stay updated which gives me the opportunity to be a good academician in future. Finally to me, I am able to build a network with my colleagues and students which will surely help me in the long run.’’
“As a student who spent time sitting in Mr. Mehedi’s class, I believe I can evaluate my mentor from what I have seen and observed him during his time of teaching me. To begin with, I would like to say that Mr. Mehedi had a proficient method of delivering his lectures, where he was very lucid and explanative in his deliverance on topics that he covered. He strictly maintained daily routine for lectures followed by the exercises, which allowed students explore the subject in class and provoked thoughts. His lectures showed his depth and understanding about the quantitative and verbal section of GRE, and this helped him teach the course with great enthusiasm and confidence. I believe these qualities of him would make him a great tutor in his future and would assist him in achieving his future goals in academia.’’
